The beginning of a very long journey
The novel follows a tired space delivery crew as they drift through galaxies, encounter bizarre beings, discuss deeply questionable ideas and search for something more meaningful than another long-distance delivery. The humour comes from cosmic scale colliding with ordinary frustration: boredom, bills, bad tea, awkward romance, awful jobs and robots with too much confidence.
At its centre, Space 2047 is about wanting an adventure so badly that even a gigantic rabbit in space feels like destiny.
